Industrial automation and energy-efficient solutions provider, Fuji Electric India, has opened a new factory in Tamil Nadu, with an investment of Rs 150 crore and will initially hire over 250 people for the new plant. Spread across 65,000 sq ft in Perungudi along the Old Mahabalipuram Road in the city, it would produce drives and other components required for industries engaged in cement production, as well as heating, ventilation and air-conditioning, among others.
