Digital engineering company GlobalLogic, which was acquired by Japan-headquartered Hitachi in 2021 for $9.6 billion and has made two major acquisitions of its own – Romania-based Fortech and Latin American firm Hexacta, plans to hire 3,500-4,000 people this year. Piyush Jha, the newly appointed managing director and head of India and the APAC, said the company has 14,500 employees in the country and is looking to add at least 25% more this year.
