Amber, the student accommodation platform, has promoted Prachi Kamble to Director of Human Resources. Kamble, who joined Amber in February 2023 as the Lead for People & Culture, has significantly influenced the company’s cultural development and employee engagement strategies during her tenure.

Prachi’s new role is anticipated to further enhance Amber’s HR excellence, contributing to its continuous success and expansion. Her promotion underscores Amber’s dedication to nurturing internal talent and highlights her exceptional contributions over the past year.

Preceding Amber, Kamble had a brief yet impactful stint at United Breweries in Bengaluru from July to October 2022, where she led critical HR projects that substantially propelled the company’s growth. Her professional journey with the Mahindra Group spanned almost three years, beginning in 2019 when she joined as the Manager of Employer Branding & Talent Acquisition. During her time there, she led the renowned Mahindra Group Management Cadre (GMC) Programme. Her exceptional performance earned her a promotion in 2021 to HR Business Partner for the group corporate office, where she adeptly managed intricate HR operations.

Amber, established by a committed team of five, has expanded into a thriving enterprise with over 600 employees, continually pursuing excellence and providing a seamless, stress-free housing experience for students globally.

Her academic credentials include an engineering degree from Modern Education Society’s College of Engineering in Pune and an MBA in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management. This strong educational background underpins her extensive professional experience.

She expressed her enthusiasm for her new role with firm commitment through a LinkedIn update saying “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director–Human Resources at Amber,” and vows to steer Amber’s mission to newer heights.
