Ashish Prasad Named Chief Human Resources Officer at Pidilite Industries

Ashish Prasad has been appointed Chief Human Resources Officer of Pidilite Industries, with his role taking effect on 14 November. He succeeds Rahul Gama, who has resigned to explore new professional opportunities. According to the company, Gama will continue to serve until 31 January 2026 to support a seamless transition.

Ashish brings 28 years of diversified experience across Sales, Brand Management, Operations, Digital functions and Strategy within the Building Materials, Consumer and Retail sectors. His career is distinguished by senior leadership roles that reflect strategic depth and operational expertise.

Prior to joining Pidilite Industries in this capacity, he was Chief Executive Officer at Sintex BAPL, a Welspun group company. His association with Pidilite is longstanding, having earlier served for more than seven years as Chief Operating Officer in the Construction Chemicals division.

His professional journey encompasses key positions, including Senior Vice President at Ashirvad Pipes, Chief Marketing Officer & Head of New Products and Services at ACC, CEO at IIJT (Teamlease), Chief Operating Officer at Madura Garments Lifestyle Retail Company, Head of Strategy & Business Development at Aditya Birla Group – Fabric & Apparels, and General Manager at The Coca-Cola Company.

Ashish began his career with Asian Paints in 1997, spending over seven years there and concluding his tenure as Regional Manager and Head for the Delhi, Haryana and J&K region. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
