Biocon Limited has announced the appointment of Naveen Narayanan as its Chief Human Resources Officer, effective April 1, marking a key leadership transition within the company’s people function.
Maninder Kapoor Puri, the Head of Human Resources at Biocon, will cease to hold the office with effect from the close of business hours of March 31, 2026, according to a regulatory filing.
Naveen previously served as the Global Head of Human Resources at Biocon Biologics Limited from September 2021 to March 2026, where he steered global HR strategy during a period of organisational expansion and transformation.

With nearly 25 years of cross-sector experience, Naveen’s career spans the Hospitality, Supply Chain, Banking, Retail, Travel and Information Technology industries, equipping him with a diverse and global perspective on workforce leadership.
Over the course of his career, he has held senior roles at Kpisoft, Publicis Sapient, Arrows Group Global, HCL Technologies, Accenture, Standard Chartered Bank, Al-Futtaim, Oman United Agencies, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and ITC Hotels.
Naveen holds an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, a post-graduation from the Institute of Hotel Management Mumbai, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Madras.
