Tejas Mehta has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Vodafone Idea, effective 6 October 2025.
He replaces Murthy GVAS, who steps down on 5 October 2025. Vodafone Idea confirmed the appointment in a stock exchange filing on Friday, noting that the decision was ratified by its Board of Directors on 3 October, following the recommendations of the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

The announcement marks the second major leadership change in recent months. In August, the company elevated former Chief Operating Officer Abhijit Kishore to Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Akshaya Moonda at the conclusion of his three-year term.
A Chartered Accountant, Tejas began his career with Marico India in 1997 and has since built over two decades of experience in finance and leadership roles across several international markets. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at Mondelez India.
