The Flipkart Group on Monday announced the appointment of Yogita Shanbhag as Vice President – Human Resources, entrusting her with a pivotal mandate at a time when the company continues to sharpen its technology-led ambitions.
Shanbhag will lead the human resources function for the OneTech Business Unit, a critical pillar underpinning Flipkart’s technology infrastructure and innovation roadmap. In this capacity, she will be responsible for strengthening organisational resilience and fostering cultural alignment to support the brand’s evolving technological foundation, the company said in a statement.
She brings with her more than two decades of experience across Juniper Networks and Wipro, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams. Most recently, Shanbhag was instrumental in expanding Juniper’s India operations into its largest global centre of excellence, according to the statement, underscoring her expertise in steering complex, growth-oriented environments.

Flipkart also appointed Vipin Kapooria as Vice President – Business Finance. A Chartered Accountant with over 19 years of experience, Kapooria has held senior leadership roles at OYO and Yum! Brands, and most recently served as Chief Financial Officer at Blinkit. In his new role, he will oversee business finance across categories, partnering closely with business teams to drive financial discipline, operational excellence and sustainable growth.
