Pizza Hut, a division of the US based Yum!Brands has appointed Rohan Pewekar as its Managing Director for the Indian Subcontinent. As per the reports, the newly appointed MD shall be based out of Gurugram.
Pewekar will replace Merrill Pereyra and will lead the pizza brand in Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Srilanka and Maldives.
During his four year stint as the the Chief Strategy and Finance Officer, Pewekar has helped shaped the brand’s strategy and was pivotal in its growth.
Prior to Pizza Hut, Pewekar has been associated with Samsung Electronics India.
