Gupta brings with him a formidable track record in building and scaling large, consumer-centric technology platforms across high-growth digital enterprises. Before joining Stashfin, he held several senior leadership positions, including Vice President at Zupee, Chief Technology Officer at Creditas Solutions, Associate Director of Technology at the Goibibo Group, and Manager – Technology at Times Internet. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in developing resilient platforms, championing AI adoption, and leading high-performing engineering teams at scale.
At Stashfin, his mandate encompasses the evolution of cloud-native architecture, reinforcement of platform stability and performance, and the pursuit of cost efficiency across the technology stack. These initiatives are designed to ensure that the company’s systems expand seamlessly in tandem with rising customer demand and transaction volumes.
A cornerstone of Gupta’s role will be steering AI-led transformation across engineering, product development, and business operations. Under his leadership, AI is being woven deeply into the organisation’s fabric, shifting from isolated experimentation to tangible, measurable outcomes. This includes AI-assisted and automated code generation, reviews, and quality assurance to enhance developer productivity and shorten time-to-market; intelligent CRM and customer communication workflows that enable personalised engagement and swifter resolution; and AI-powered collections and operational enablement, where data-driven insights optimise outreach strategies and customer interactions.
