
DS Group, one of India’s foremost FMCG conglomerates, has announced the appointment of Subrat Chakravarty as its Chief Human Resources Officer and Head of Business Excellence, signalling a strategic push towards organisational transformation and sustainable growth.

A seasoned HR professional, Chakravarty brings with him over three decades of extensive experience across diverse industries and global organisations. Prior to joining DS Group, he served as Head of Human Resources and Global Programme Director – HR Process & Technology Transformation at HCLTech, where he led large-scale initiatives in HR modernisation and digital transformation.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Chakravarty has held leadership roles at prominent organisations, including Birlasoft, HCL Technologies, Aon Hewitt, Kenya Airways, L&T Infotech, Indian Petrochemicals Corporation and Bata India, earning a reputation for driving impactful people strategies and organisational excellence.
