Achintya Mangla to Head Citi’s Investment Banking Financing

Citigroup has recently appointed Achintya Mangla to lead the Financing for Investment Banking division as the Head. He assumed his duties on September 4 and is currently reporting to Viswas Raghavan who is the present Head of Banking and Executive Vice Chair at Citi.

Achintya’s role will require him to oversee global debt capital markets, equity capital markets and private capital markets. He along with his boss Raghavan, each brings over two decades of experience from JP Morgan. Earlier this year, Raghavan transitioned to Citigroup to take on the top job. 

Before Citi, Achintya was the Head of global equity capital markets.
