New Delhi Television which is popularly abbreviated as NDTV has hired Purva as the Chief People Officer. With over 25 years in the field of human resources, Purva has handled and led different facets of talent management.
Before assuming office in September, she served as the CHRO for the India Today Group and the Chief Operating Officer for the India Today Media Institute for over a decade. Preceding her erstwhile organisation, she worked for MakeMyTrip, Max Healthcare and Hewitt Associates.

Succeeding her Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) in Economics from St. Stephen’s College (DU), she completed her MBX with a specialisation in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur.
