Engineering, technology and digital transformation service provider Alten India plans to add 7,000 engineers to its workforce over the next two years. Alten India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of France-based Alten Group that provides services focussed on sectors such as aerospace, automotive, telecom, rail and life sciences. It commenced its operations in India in 2010 to support Airbus projects, and since then has acquired nine companies here. It has recently opened a new office in Chennai. The engineers will cover varying services including mechanical engineering, cyber security, cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning and enterprise management services.
