Wells Fargo India and the Philippines has announced the appointment of Yash Mohan as the new Head of Human Resources. Yash joins the company with an impressive 22+ years of experience in global human resources, including 15 years at Bank of New York (BNY) as Head of HR for APAC and India, where he led the end-to-end people strategy across 12 countries in the region.
Yash’s experience spans various industries including banking, insurance, SaaS, and data analytics, where he has successfully led change and transformation programs, set up India GCC centers, and partnered across multiple business functions to deliver innovative solutions for diverse workforces. He has a deep passion for creating cultures of excellence, inclusion, and growth.

In addition to his extensive corporate experience, Yash is an Associate Fellow at The Wharton School and holds a Master’s in Labour Welfare from Symbiosis International University. His leadership philosophy centers on fostering a culture of growth, inclusion, and performance, all while driving impactful business outcomes.
As the new Head of HR at Wells Fargo, Yash is poised to lead the company’s HR strategy in India and the Philippines, ensuring a continued focus on talent development and transformation.
