Hindustan Power has announced the appointment of Gopalji Mehrotra as its Chief Human Resources Officer, strengthening its leadership team with a seasoned human capital strategist.

Gopalji brings to the role more than three decades of distinguished professional experience across diverse sectors, marked by a consistent record of organisational transformation and talent leadership.

Prior to joining Hindustan Power, he served as CHRO at ACME Group, where he steered key people initiatives and workforce strategies.

Over the course of his career, he has held senior roles at HPCL-Mittal Energy, Astix, Ashok Leyland, Mylan, Zensar Technologies, Kennametal, and ITC, contributing significantly to people management practices across industries.

Gopalji holds an MBA in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Master of Arts (MA) in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.
