Aarti Industries announced that its board has approved the appointment of Suyog Kalyanji Kotecha as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective June 17, 2024, succeeding Rajendra V. Gogri. Although Gogri will step down as CEO, he will continue to serve as Chairman and Managing Director.
Educational Background
Kotecha holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly known as the University Department of Chemical Technology), an MS in Chemical Engineering from the Netherlands, and an MBA from ISB.
Industry Expertise
He is a seasoned professional in the chemical industry, having held prominent leadership roles throughout various stages of the value chain. Most recently, he spearheaded Strategy and New Business initiatives in the Petrochemicals division at Reliance Industries. Prior to that, he was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, where he led the Chemicals Practice, guiding companies on performance transformation and strategic growth.
