Jyoti Mahendru Returns to McCann Worldgroup India as Chief Talent Officer and National Communication Officer

McCann Worldgroup India has officially welcomed back Jyoti Mahendru as its new Chief Talent Officer and National Communication Officer, marking a significant leadership appointment for the network.

Mahendru, a seasoned human resources professional, is no stranger to the organisation. She previously held the position of Executive Vice President – Human Resources from 2018 to 2022, and her return signals a strategic investment in strengthening both talent and internal communications across the company.

Sharing her enthusiasm, Mahendru expressed in a LinkedIn post: “Thrilled to be coming home to McCann Worldgroup India - this time as Chief Talent Officer & National Communications Officer.”

In her renewed role, she will be at the helm of the company’s talent management strategy, championing a progressive organisational culture and driving cohesive internal communications throughout McCann's national operations.

Prior to her return, Mahendru served as Chief People Officer for India at global marketing and communications agency VML, where she led transformative people-centric initiatives. Her extensive professional journey also includes pivotal roles at KNAV International, Bharti Wal-Mart, Belden, Modicare, Barista Coffee, and Star TV Network, showcasing her breadth of experience across industries.

Academically, Mahendru is an alumna of the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, where she earned her Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management – HR.

Her return to McCann Worldgroup is seen as a strategic move to elevate the firm’s people agenda and fortify internal cohesion in an ever-evolving communication landscape.
