Paytm Payments Bank has announced the appointment of Manish Kumar as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Before joining Paytm Payments Bank, Kumar served as the Chief People Officer at UBI Services. His extensive career also includes roles at Poonawalla Fincorp, Ziqitza Healthcare, RBS, Dhanlaxmi Bank, IDFC Bank, Alkem Laboratories, and Reliance Capital, where he gained a wealth of experience.
With 24 years in the human resources field, Kumar has developed expertise in a variety of HR functions, including strategic HR, business partnering, Centres of Excellence (COEs), industrial relations, and operational roles. His career spans across a range of sectors such as retail, manufacturing, banking, pharmaceuticals, and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).
Kumar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management (HRD) from Xavier Institute of Social Service.
