NetApp, the Intelligent Data Infrastructure company, has announced the appointment of Premalakshmi Ramakrishnan as its new Area Vice President for India and the SAARC region, marking a strategic move to accelerate growth across one of the world’s most dynamic technology markets.
In her new role, Premalakshmi will lead NetApp’s regional sales strategy, with a sharp emphasis on deepening customer relationships and expanding the partner ecosystem. Her mandate includes advancing NetApp’s customer-first philosophy while supporting organisations as they confront the rising complexity of IT modernisation and AI-driven data infrastructure.
She brings with her a distinguished record of building high-performing teams and guiding enterprises through transformative technology journeys. With more than two decades of experience in the global technology sector, Premalakshmi is widely recognised for her expertise in go-to-market strategy and business transformation. She joins NetApp from Oracle, where she served as Vice President and Head of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Business for India. Her career also includes senior leadership roles at Accenture, Cisco, and Schneider Electric (APC), further cementing her credentials as a seasoned industry leader.
