Rakessh Tiwary Appointed Group CFO as Raymond Group Advances Strategic Overhaul

Raymond Group has appointed Rakessh Tiwary as its Group Chief Financial Officer, effective 3 December 2025. He takes over from Amit Agarwal, who moves full-time into the company’s Lifestyle business. The company stated the following without modification: “Raymond Group has appointed Rakessh Tiwary as its Group Chief Financial Officer effective December 3, 2025. He succeeds Amit Agarwal, who moves full-time into the company’s Lifestyle business.”

He brings more than 25 years of financial leadership across the cement, airport, electricity, solar energy, steel, oil and infrastructure sectors. His career encompasses capital structuring, strategic finance, governance and performance transformation. He has previously occupied senior finance roles in several major corporates spanning these industries and has also worked with leading consulting and professional services firms earlier in his career.

His appointment coincides with a significant organisational overhaul at Raymond. The group has recently shifted to a three-entity structure: Raymond Limited, focused on engineering; Raymond Realty, concentrated on real estate development; and Raymond Lifestyle, dedicated to its consumer businesses. All three now function as independent, debt-free listed companies.

Rakessh’s arrival is viewed as a strategic step intended to reinforce financial discipline and enhance capital governance across a portfolio that spans engineering, real estate, aerospace and EV components. His expertise is expected to bolster Raymond’s next phase of growth, strengthen investor confidence and support the creation of long-term shareholder value.
