One of India's leading general insurance company ACKO has found its new Chief Executive Officer in Sanjiv Goenka. Goenka shall be responsible for its recently launched insurance business, ACKO Life.
In its appointment note, the company wrote that Goenka shall direct the business and direct it strategically."He will be instrumental in developing the company’s initial product offerings and ensuring the necessary systems and processes are in place to support the business," said the note.
Goenka is a seasoned business leader with two decades of experience in handling life, health, general insurance and insurance consulting.
Reflecting on his recent assignment, Goenka wrote, "The role aligns perfectly with my passion for driving growth and delivering exceptional value and I look forward to leading the team in building a strong and sustainable life insurance business that meets the evolving needs of Indian consumers."
Goenka is a qualified Actuary from the Institute of Actuaries of India and the UK Actuarial Institute with a specialisation in health & life.
