Strategic Leap: Chanakya Gupta Moves from Cult to Tuco Kids as Co-Founder

Chanakya Gupta, a seasoned leader with over 23 years in consumer businesses, is stepping into a new chapter as Co-founder of Tuco Kids- a personal care brand. After holding senior leadership positions at Cult, Flipkart, Curefit, and Hindustan Unilever, Gupta is now set to help Tuco Kids scale its vision of natural, sustainable personal care for children.

His transition comes at a time when Tuco Kids is rapidly expanding, having recently secured $2 million in seed funding from Fireside Ventures and Whiteboard Capital.

At Flipkart, Gupta led strategic partnerships for the group and played a pivotal role in launching initiatives like Flipkart Boost, a D2C brand accelerator, and 2GUD, the refurbished goods platform. Before that, he spent nearly a decade at Hindustan Unilever, managing modern retail partnerships and driving brand development in the soaps category. Most recently, at Curefit, he was Business Head - Play (erstwhile Fitso) and CHRO, overseeing business expansion and talent strategies.
