Sudeep Kunnumal, a seasoned veteran at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has been appointed as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) of the company, taking over after the superannuation of the incumbent Milind Lakkad. Kunnumal, who currently heads the HR function for TCS's largest vertical—banking, financial services, and insurance—will officially assume the role of CHRO designate from Friday, as per a company statement.
Kunnumal is set to "take over as Chief Human Resources Officer upon the superannuation of Milind Lakkad," the statement confirmed. While the exact date of Lakkad's retirement has yet to be revealed, his tenure as CHRO, which began in 2019, has been instrumental in shaping TCS's HR strategy.
