IndiaMART InterMesh, the leading online B2B marketplace, announced on Monday the appointment of Saurabh Deep Singla as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). Singla brings over 25 years of experience in human resources management, having held leadership roles at major organisations including UpGrad, Ecom Express, Rio Tinto, Yum! Restaurants, Whirlpool, and Bharti Airtel.
In his new capacity at IndiaMART, Singla will be responsible for overseeing all human resources-related partnerships within the company, as well as leading efforts to foster a strong, innovative workforce culture across IndiaMART's operations.
Dinesh Gulati, IndiaMART's Chief Operating Officer, expressed his enthusiasm about Singla’s appointment, highlighting the importance of HR innovation in managing the company's growing workforce of more than 6,000 employees. Singla himself shared his excitement about joining IndiaMART, noting the company’s impactful role in the digitalisation of business operations.
