Biswaroop Mukherjee, the head of Human Reosurces, for the Commercial Vehicle Business Unit at Tata Motors, has moved on to pursue personal interests outside the organisation.
Mukherjee's sudden exit from Tata Motor's was announced on 21st Oct, which was his last working day at the organisation. As per autocar professional, he joined the organisation in 2019.
It was Mukherjee’s second tenure at Tata Motors, having previously served the company for over 6 years, from 2011 to 2017.
On the morning of 21 October 2024, Tata Motors’ Executive Director, Girish Wagh, alongside CHRO Sitaram Kandi, informed the company's leadership of Mukherjee's departure.
