Biocon Biologics has appointed Deepak Dobriyal as its Global Head of Talent and HR Transformation, reinforcing its senior leadership as the company accelerates the global expansion of its biosimilars portfolio.
The appointment was confirmed in a company statement, which said Deepak will lead the organisation’s end-to-end talent agenda. His remit will encompass talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, learning and development, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), evolving ways of working, and wider human resources transformation initiatives across the group.
In his new role, he will focus on building future-ready talent pipelines and fostering a skills-based learning organisation. He will also play a central role in enhancing employee experience and strengthening the employer brand as Biocon Biologics continues to scale its presence across international markets.

Deepak brings nearly three decades of experience across major global enterprises. Before joining Biocon Biologics, he served as Senior Vice President and Global Leader for Talent Management and Corporate HR at Birlasoft, where he steered global talent management, leadership development and HR transformation programmes.
His previous career includes senior human resources leadership positions at Cognizant, NCR Corporation, IBM and Newgen Software Technologies.
Biocon Biologics said the appointment aligns with its ongoing investment in developing an agile, globally aligned workforce to support long-term growth ambitions in biosimilars and complex biologics.
Based in India, he holds a postgraduate qualification in human resources and has completed executive education programmes in HR leadership.
