Global logistics leader DHL Group has announced the inauguration of its latest IT Services (ITS) centre in Indore, reinforcing its long-term commitment to building a hub of digital innovation and technology expertise in India.
In addition to supporting international projects, the Indore facility will serve as DHL ITS’ first dedicated technology training academy in the country. The academy will equip employees with advanced skills in digital technologies, automation, artificial intelligence, and leadership, according to the company.
This centre becomes DHL ITS’ fifth in India and its first with a specific focus on training, adding to existing locations in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. DHL IT Services acts as the technological backbone of the Group, employing over 6,000 IT professionals globally to ensure uninterrupted operations through secure, scalable, and resilient solutions across both on-premises and cloud platforms.
With the Indore launch, DHL ITS’ workforce now comprises nearly 6,000 specialists worldwide, including 1,300 based in India. The new facility has already onboarded 100 employees. Indore was chosen for its thriving academic ecosystem and strong employee retention rates, making it an ideal base for developing long-term capabilities.

DHL ITS has expanded rapidly in India, growing to five centres within just 18 months. With over 1,300 digital and logistics professionals, it has emerged as one of the fastest-growing technology hubs within DHL Group.

Currently, DHL ITS India collaborates with more than 15 technology partners and has initiated five academic partnerships with leading universities to align curricula with industry needs.
