Mohamed Ibrahim Appointed Managing Director at Transsafe Global Forwarding

Transsafe Global Forwarding has announced the appointment of Mohamed Ibrahim as its new Managing Director. A veteran of the supply chain sector, Ibrahim brings more than three decades of expertise in global transportation management across industries, including automotive, construction and mining equipment, engines, and consumer goods.

Over the course of his distinguished career, Ibrahim has held senior leadership roles across India, the wider Asia-Pacific region, and at the global level, overseeing large-scale procurement and operational functions for multinational corporations. His extensive portfolio includes formulating and executing integrated supply chain strategies, designing logistics solutions for new manufacturing ventures, implementing trade and customs compliance frameworks, and steering multiple transformation programmes across diverse international markets.

He has also demonstrated exceptional resilience and strategic foresight in guiding businesses through severe disruptions such as the pandemic and the Red Sea crisis. In each instance, he has driven innovative solutions, operational improvements, and cost optimisation, earning both recognition and accolades for excellence in performance.

In his new role at Transsafe Global Forwarding, headquartered in Singapore, Ibrahim will be responsible for leading the global sourcing of freight and logistics services. He will also set the company’s strategic and operational agenda, centred on delivering value-driven logistics solutions of the highest impact. His leadership will focus on six key pillars: operational and service excellence, solution and business development, customer and supplier relationship management, financial performance, compliance governance, and people development.

Ibrahim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Master’s degree in International Business. He is a certified Supply Chain and Logistics Professional, a Six Sigma Black Belt, and a Lean Leader. His appointment reflects Transsafe’s commitment to evolving alongside customer requirements and establishing new benchmarks of excellence in global freight forwarding.
