According to the World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2023, the global demand for AI and Machine Learning (ML) specialists is set to rise by 40%, leading to roughly a million new jobs.
Additionally, the shift towards renewable energy is expected to significantly boost employment, potentially creating 30 million global jobs by 2030.
The education sector is expected to see a 10% job increase, adding three million new positions.
Other sectors such as agriculture and e-commerce are also projected to witness substantial job growth. Overall, the report predicts the creation of 69 million jobs within the next five years amid the continuing technological disruption.
