Budget hotel chain Lemon Tree is planning to add at least 2,000 workers for its new hotel openings this financial year. This would increase the total workforce from the current level of 7,000. At the same time, the company is looking to correct the gender ratio.
The hotel chain is aiming to make sure at least 15% of the overall workforce in the company are women this year and aims to have around 30% of the total from what it calls ‘opportunity-deprived’ people, covering sections like people with disabilities, school dropouts, orphaned people, and widows, by the year ending March 2026.
