1. Have a Purpose First:
Without a purpose in sight, the mentorship programme will not be successful. Therefore, it is very important to have a defined purpose in mind, both for the company and the participants. Begin by evaluating skills gaps in the business. What are you trying to achieve out of the programme, is it an improvement in customer service, or achieve higher sales for the year or transfer key knowledge across departments and teams?
